I've long been a fan of honestly circulated coins ... to me they have a sense of purpose ... having honorably served the needs of our nations commerce.

There is to me a special class of these coins ... those which exhibit a circulation cameo look whereby the dark toned fields offer a vivid contrast to the lighter colored portraits and legends.

I'm simply a sucker for honestly worn circulation cameo coins.

In that spirit ... pleased to share with you the most recent example for my set ... a collection of circulation cameo coins that has no end goals or objectives other than to make my collecting spirit happy.

Please say if you disagree ... how could you not like this coin?

I am also a complete sucker for circulation cameo. The stronger the better. I often pay more than I should for them. But every time I see them in my albums I forget what I paid as I enjoy my prize.

Yours is a beautiful example and a CC to boot.

Seriously groovy.

Nice piece. I'd call it a 6 or 8 but it should make VG8 on overall appeal.

I wish I could find a Seated dollar like that for my 7070.

jbuck ... I would start an entire 7070 adventure if I knew coins such as this were available to fill it ... alas ... they are seldom seen in original skin with such lovely cameo

Appreciate all the kind comments.

Seeing this one might have made filling those holes a bit more difficult for me.
