In the past few years I've made most of my purchases at the local coin show and at a couple of coin dealers shops. Estate auctions used to be a favorite but they haven't been productive for coins lately.

I check here first, then coin shows, ebay as a last resort.

Quote:Gold? What's that? Hey, me too! The vast majority of my purchases have come from ebay. Otherwise, second place would go to buying from CCF members (best deals for things I can afford & want that are available).

Quote: @UltraRant Out of curiosity, what is the 'online European source', if I might ask? For Norway, it's Finn, for Sweden, it's Tradera, for The Netherlands, it's Marktplaats, for Germany, it's MA-Shops, also catawiki shops in general in Europe.

I used to get almost all my silver (weekly acquisitions) from my LCS before they closed. Nowadays it's my Sunday Market primarily with the Swedish online market (Tradera) coming in second. Thirdly coin show (bianually) and fourthly ground finds.

Some ebay, but I seem find better deals at local coin shows and auctions.
