I would like some help on my Ace 200. I have it set for coins and at the 2nd position of 4 for strength. It seems like all the detector picks up is trash iron or beer cans. I did a test and a beer can comes up with the same number as a penny,a silver nickel and the coin that comes with the device. Is this normal? I do have the wire ran correctly and the coil is mounted properly. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Rest in Peace

Check YouTube for demonstrations of use. Almost all common detectors have help and instructions.

My $1500 Minelab also likes aluminum cans, thinks they are silver dollars. I've dug a Morgan and Peace dollar by digging those cans...

I agree with moxking, go to You Tube for instructions.

I appreciate the info. I have looked at the instructional videos on youtube. I have a number to Garret I'm going to call when I get a few minutes today.
