Just thought I'd share some up to now info.. This will change as I have a ton of coins left to go through. I was hanging out with my aunt, this evening, and coins came up in conversation. She went to the basement and came up with 3 very large old Parkay butter tubs filled with coins, Pennies, Nickels, Quarters, Halves, Dollars.. Dimes are in another tub that she has somewhere else.
This is what I have found so far ( I wont list the pennies yet, there are thousands of wheats)
Quarters:
1955, 1962D,1956D,1940,2@1951, 1948D,1952D,1948,1959D,1942,1958D,1943
3 standing liberty's..Dates worn off

Dollars:
1922S Peace
1883O Morgan,1901O Morgan
3@1964, 1946,1957D, 1950D,1962D, 1961D,1964

Halves:
1962D, 2@1963D, 1945(Die Crack), 1953D,1964, 1941,1950D,1948

Nickels:
1945P,5@1943P,1905 Barber,
I have about 100 Buffalo nickels, Most are in good shape, but are covered in green dust.

As far as the Wheaties, from what I have searched so far, I am missing a 1909, 1922, 1931-32-33-, I have found at least 3 from every other year, Many of them are "S"
6@1919S, and 27 1919 plain... if you need a 1919, let me know, I think I have them all

It will take a few days (literally) to get through the rest, I'll let you all know the outcome..
Please let me find a 1922 and a few 55D/D's!!

Oh I have some Indians too..

Sounds like you have an aunt you need to thank for all the fun. I wish that I had a few older relatives with something similar because that would be a blast. About the closest thing I have found was in a coin store years ago that use to do some really nice grab bags for about 20-60% of the actual value. Most of it was old wheaties (good for me) but a few nice finds here and there for older silver coins (okay, 1900-1940's). I had a blast with it and wish I lived close to that place to do it again.

Quick update
The only Wheat that I have not found is a 1922, I have a complete list of every other year. Most years I have a "D" or an "S", Except for 1909. Multiple 1917 and 1936. My eyes are pretty shot right now. I have over 70 1917,1918,1919 combined, 1910and 1911's are coming in at about 25 combined. I still have another tub to go through. I'll be back with another update later.

Does anyone have a way to get green corrosion dust off the Buffalo nickels? I don't want to "Clean" them, just gt the crusties off.

you could try extremely diluted nickadate it will take it off but if you put to much on it will start to discolor the coin.

*Note to self: Call all of your old relatives and tell them about your coin collection...

GREAT Find. That must be a blast to sort through coins like that....
