I sniped this off of ebay, and - though it's not in the best condition - it's a really nice retained die break. I didn't mind paying $3 for it! I think it would be a new listing on cuds-on-coins.

Very nice pickup! Retained Cuds and Cuds would be my favorite error of all time. They're not easy to find. How many Cuds do you have?

As long as you don't mind paying for it, go for it. I'm kinda mixed when it comes to errors on ebay, yea, I do sell and buy some at times myself. Just too much hype of winning coin lottery with error coins during the past few years has screwed the true market IMHO. Like to see reasonable prices on real error coins for a change. Not too shabby, especially for a new listing!

Wow! That a lot of Cuds you have! I only have 3 in my collection. One from 2005, a West Virginia Quarter that I found in circulation at a arcade from York Beach, Maine, 1975 Lincoln Cent with a huge Cud on the bust (Pulled from a circulated bankroll from a bank box), and one from 1983 that has a small Cud (Also pulled from a circulated bankroll from a bank box).
Errers and Varietys.

Nice pick up! I bet the die didn't last much longer after striking that one.
