The show was really good overall, and there was a solid attendance. Not so many empty bourse tables, and a steady stream of people flowing through the entire day. I kind of expected that, since the winter shows are normally the most popular.

Anyway, on to the NEWPs:

Agrippa, AE As, 10.35g, RIC 58
I know that he died in 12 BC, so that was the latest the coin would have been minted, but does anyone know the exact date range for this type?

Faustina II, AE Sestertius, 161-175 AD, 24.95g
RIC 1649, my thickest ancient coin so far!

Maximian, 294 AD, AE Follis, 9.87g, RIC VI 146, I think Heraclea Mint.
It's so beautiful and high grade; even the silvered surface can still be seen.

All I know about this coin is that it's of Diocletian and it's a Follis. Anyone know the right variety? Also, what do you all think would be best to deal with the verdigris on the coin?

Anastasius I, 491-518 AD, AE Follis, 17.79g, Constantinople Mint, Sear 19,B. I got this coin out of a "junk" bin with the Follis of Justin shown below.

Justin I, 518-527 AD, AE Follis, 11.33g, Constantinople Mint, Sear 62

The highlight of the show IMO:
Justinian I, 542 AD (Regnal Year 15), AE Follis, 23.27g, Constantinople Mint, Sear 163
Absolutely ginormous coin, around 38.5 mm. The detail kills as well!

Khosrau II, 591-628 AD, AR Drachm, 4.1g
I would appreciate any more specifics about this coin and the Umayyad shown next, as I am clueless (not an exaggeration)

Tentative ID:

Finally, a Japanese 2 Sen I got for a quarter and for no reason in particular :)

Thanks for viewing, and please feel free to help correct what I assume are my many, many identification mistakes. All opinions or comments are welcome!

Very nice!

I can't speak to the ancients.

I would have gotten that 1881 2 sen for a quarter any day. I really like those large Meiji era bronze coins.
