Hello All, I mostly collect world coins and certain American/British/Irish coins. I also collect some banknotes, mostly foreign. I have been collecting on and off throughout 35 years. I am looking forward to learn all about coin collecting here. I already learnt few new things! I am a bit shy about introducing myself. It will take a while for me to warm up. I will get there somehow!  I am based in Maryland. Hope this is more than enough to start for now, is it? Please do not be too hard on me! |

There are some forums out there on the Internet where the attitude towards "Newbies" seems to be "Oooh, fresh meat". This is not one of those forums. Welcome.  Feel free to ask questions. And if you make a "newbie mistake", like post a question in the wrong part of the forum or post a question that's already been asked a thousand times, people around here are generally quite tolerant, understanding and helpful. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
