Its artificially done. 1) ABSOLUTELY no indication on reverse. While this is not completely definitive, strike one.2) the line STOP at IGWT, strike two. 3) looks very much like a quick swipe of a rag with Brasso and the obv is Cleaner than reverse, strike three.

Have a hard time with this one, sorry.

I've found multiple woodies where there is no indication on the reverse. if you suspect intentional damage I can assure you it wasn't from me. I found this in an old bag of wheaties

If you also look up online there are multiple examples that were showing woody affect on one side only, and they were professionally certified coins. So that's false that there has to be the woody affect on both sides.

I believe the third coin down on this error reference shows a woody affect on one side and one side only!
