Here are my favorite minor variety cents, never found one roll searching but by golly ya never know, I keep chugging along looking for a wild one. These two cost fat bucks but I sure enjoy them.

Even if it costed you big money, it's still a great buy. Nice addition to your collection. :)

Thanks, both are low pop and had to pay 15% over book, examples in Red don't come up often. I have an AU58 I paid 100% over book for from (can't say them on site but they are completely way delusional on their ebay listings) they have one now in AU-55 (fugly LDS) for $175.00.

A dang good ebay seller who is a member on this forum sold me two real nice examples at a good fair price. I will buy from him again, one is AU-55 LDS and the other is a stunning MDS (we think) MS 61 RB. I will be getting both slabbed soon and share them with the forum. This is the one I have a fetish about, I believe every one of the 5 I have are similar but again quite different in stage.
I was informed by someone with more knowledge who kindly reminded me there is alot more out there in LDS waiting to be identified. It hurt my feelings :) I understand more now about price/pop and thank the gentleman for letting me down easy.
I still attempt to buy any and all now but only at a fair retail price.
On a closing note you wouldn't believe (what we both think is EDS example) of the 66 in his personal collection. NFS he told me, he wrote it on a chalkboard for me Not For Sale. Won't say his name but he is a fair coin dealer.
Crazybo! Give me that 66 DDO you have under your mattress, you don't need it.

If they noticed the doubled die and pull it before it reached LDS that could happen also. But if you can see a VLDS example, the they didn't catch it in MDS.
