I have three coins that I have no idea on. They come from an estate I'm trying to help disburse. Any idea on country and year of issue and market value if any? Thanks for anything you might offer!

All 3 are genuine ancient coins Sestertius coins. Julia Mamaea Maximinus and Nero. The coins have been over cleaned at one time but still have good value. The Nero may have the greatest value but not sure why his name is missing from the coin. Coins are around 1700 years old.

Josephrg, thanks for the info! They look good in hand with some verdigris present but it's not too distracting.

I really like the Nero sestertius! Also interested in the coin I believe this is a typically example of " darn atio memoriae", a modern Latin phrase literally meaning "condemnation of memory", meaning that a person must not be remembered.
It was a form of dishonor that could be passed by the Roman Senate on traitors or others who brought discredit to the Roman State. The intent was to erase the malefactor from history.
I believe this was the case for this Sestertius. Erasing the Name of the hated emperor from history.

To add: An example of a copper as of Nero counter-marked on the portrait's neck with SPQR (The Senate and the People of Rome) after his downfall and his name erased; Lyon (France), AD 65. British Museum

Great info, Archeo1982! Thank you. Any guess at the value of these coins? I know a lot of the ancients don't go for much but these three seem to have decent detail and they're not small coins.
