I'm going to go just by coloring, using the background of a marbled light gray. The Black witnessed is indicative of heat, yes this is what "annealing " is all about, but it is done in a controlled kiln at the mint. To just heat a coin by flame(torch, open flame, oven, propane grill) will over time change the metal to a DULL gray/black like your coin. This is(has been) a favorite "experiment" of high school students and arm chair coin expert wannabes working in their garage workshop. This is NOT an example of a "Black Beauty" annealing error.
