So my husband and I have been going through some pennies we got from a relatives barn that passed away. My daughters actually wanted them. Then we were told that the pennies could be valuable. Well we found an error maybe....on a penny but cannot recognize the year because that is where the error is. Any ideas?

Sort of looks like 1990. Do you know its weight?
And your Cent has taken some hits after it left the mint, so its most likely just PMD not an error

@james, first welcome to CCF. Second, I agree that you coin has damage rather than being an error. No value above one cent and can be spent (or kept if you just think it looks cool).
