Sorry, here I am again. I'm pretty sure this is a mintmark error or I believe it is called a double stamp. I'm not exactly sure. I've been posting so many pictures on here asking for help. I really appreciate how nice everyone on here is and how willing everyone is to help. I just recently started collecting and have sort of become obsessed. lol. I found this nickel. The rim of the nickel seems raised on the obverse kinda like the face of the nickel is sunken in. (if that makes any sense) The reverse looks like the building is a little raised. I'm thinking that's just because it's worn, but not sure. Still trying to process all the terms and whatnot. The mintmark D does look like it has a line through it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank yall so much for helping me through the start of my new hobby.

Everything looks pretty normal to me. I do see the line you mentioned through the mintmark but, we really would need a much closer pic of it to say what it is.

I don't see any listed RPMs (Repunched Mintmarks) that look like that (on VarietyVista.com)

I'm going to see if I can get a closer picture without blurring it. I couldn't find anything either. like nowhere. lol
