This nickel is in a 1984D Uncirculated mint set- (plastic wrap)

1.) Is this a Full Steps nickel and does the slight toning on the edges, both Obv & Rev, add or take away from its possible value?.

2.) Would you consider this nickel for possible TPG?

*I personally like the toning- its a beautiful golden color that really stands out on the coin*

I am pretty sure I see them all but make sure you can count five full step levels. The lower level of steps seems a bit shadowed. You need all five with no nicks for FS designation. it appears to be a golden orange toning and IMO adds to the eye appeal of an otherwise ordinary unc nickel

biokemist6:

Thanks for the info on full steps- this coin doesn't make it- the right side is not straight lines etc especially down at the bottom.

I going to leave the set intact, no tpgs.
