I bought a Whittman LMC Album from a garage sale a while ago. The album had all holes filled from 1959-1973 all MM.

Well to make a long story short, I would like to see if I can get an average grade for the book. All of them seem to be in similar condition and toning. Like they have been in this book since the '70's together.

So what would this grade

All opinions welcome.

Thanks...Mont.

Hey Mont, how are ya? Looks like that didn't see any circulation, just contact marks from transport bags. A few hits, but nothing major. I'd say its a MS-63/64RB, starting to turn but still has nice cartwheel luster.

Doing Okay thanks for asking...and you?

I cleaned off some of the paper flecks from the album and retook the photo of the obverse.

Doing fine as well, thanks! Still think its at a 64. See the scratches on cheek? High point contact, either in storage of a roll or could be from album/folder coin contact or the inserts. Coin still nice, some folks like the "aged" look!

I think at least mid-MS but, wow, those are really nice pics!

63 Red. A few too many contact marks to go above that, I would think.

Coinfrogs right it's got wipe marks AKA rub also has lots of contact and nicks I'd call it lightly circulated or vigorously over enjoyed by the collector MS63+ BR. Pretty nice coin
