The coin on the right was found while sorting some Indian Head cents. At first I thought it was a badly damaged 1859 because of the wreath on the back. But when looking at pictures online, I noticed that the wreath was different. The one on my coin doesn't have a space at the top, it keeps going, circling the coin. Also, the wreath appears to have berries on it. The front of the coin too is obscure. It has no date under the head of the Indian, and under the magnifying glass it doesn't look like it ever said United States of America. The width and thickness are consistent with the later Indian Head pennies, but the weight is 3.6 g.

I am wondering if this was some sort of bad counterfeit, or maybe a token of some sorts. Has anybody seen one like this before?

Looks like a civil war token. Is the word "not" written above "one cent" on the reverse?

Now that I look again, the word NOT is there. Small above one cent.

When I searched "Not One Cent" I found a lot of these in all different styles, and I think this is the one here. (just not in as good of condition)

This is why I love this forum. There is so much knowledge, quickly available. This would have bothered me for months if there were no internet.
