Well, according to the Krause catalog Great Britain didn't mint any Half Sovereigns in 1919 and it's going to be hard to give you any other help without seeing photos of the coin. Do you have any photos of the coin you can post?

You can't find them online because they do not exist. The British Empire had seven mints throughout the world striking gold coins; none of them struck half-sovereigns in 1919.

So, what do you have? Some possible options are:

- You might have a sovereign, not a half sovereign. Half-sovereigns are 19mm diameter and weigh almost exactly 4 grams, full sovereigns are 21mm and weigh almost exactly 8 grams.
- Your coin might be some year other than 1919. Double-check the date.
- You might have a "jewellery copy" made in the Middle East. Gold merchants in Dubai are legally allowed to make replica gold coins, so long as their fineness is clearly marked. These "coins" sometimes have fantasy date/mintmark combinations not found on genuine coins.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
