Wondering if these are error or just damaged. Found them in my change jar. I recently began collecting old coins and a good friend of mine enlightened me on error coins and they intrigue me. Any value to these specimen?

The 1941 is a common date Lincoln wheat ear cent (reverse) the others up to 1982 with the Memorial reverse are copper cents, but all are quite common. In the condition you have, the wheat is worth 2 cents to a dealer...maybe, the others are worth 1 cent, now if you want to hoard copper...another story. the Quarter is woth 25c also, no premium there, but is interesting because of the stamp on it, called a counterstamp. What this one is is a wildchave something sometime!at, no reference to what it may mean or who from so no real value there either, Sorry, nothing to shout about, doesn't hurt to ask tho, just might

The edges of the 66, 73, 74 and 82 have an abnormal line through one side of the edge on the face side and are off center. Is this significant?

That is caused by a slightly misaligned die during striking. It is common and really adds no value.

For clarity, that is the rim and not the edge. The edge is perpendicular to the face.

I really enjoy error coins. You'll have fun searching for and learning about them.

In addition to looking for errors, don't forget to look for varieties. You are much more likely to find a variety than an error.Good luck in your hunt.
