Thank you all in the community for all your information, I really appreciate everything I learn and although this has nothing to do with coins I thought that I would share these two links what show a common breakdown method related to gold and silver plated trash and determining the composition of certain metals using harsh acids and bases.once again thanks for all the info from the community,I hope y'all find these interesting if not helpful.

I've seen the "Gold from Computer Scrap" one before (I think I even posted it). It's certainly interesting. I'll have to check out the other one.

That's really cool, videos like this should be taught in school...im a big supporter of self sufficiency and an anthill style economics system based heavily on automation of many of today's currents functions.if everyone knew how to do this then anyone could run a recycling center. If every one could run the automated systems to make parts for other automated ststems, then anyone could replace a broken part.If anyone could replace that part then someone else has time to tend to a field or gives someone time to practice surgery, and if someone else tends to the field or making someone healthy, then anyone could feed and tend to their neighbor who's melting the metal to keep the system running.and when the system keeps running efficiently, everyone has the time to learn and have fun.technology is the door to a free society, information and experience are the key,and morals are the force to open the door.the willingness to do what is needed to help someone you don't even know eat, stay healthy, and have shelter is the mindset that will build this force.
When you work in a restaurant, you learn how to do anything and everything. You can have a favorite position or be more skilled in an area than others, but you learn them all. If your a part of that restaraunts crew, others will count on you as you count on them to run things efficiently and if your not working then you get fired. Its as simple as that, the best crews will do there best to learn and help each other thrive as a whole, the ones that don't usually get fired or quit and must find a new job or starve.on top of that, they usually lose assistance such as health insurance and in some cases have to work long hours at a place they don't want to even when they are older than retrment age.

Your thoughts remind me of a film called Zeitgeist: Addendum.

Part III deals with Jacque Fresco's idea of a new "modern city".

In my opinion, what that and you propose is not reasonably tenable with human beings as the "moving parts".

Your probably right,I should watch it;Your the second person to tell me it reminded them of a movie they had seen, with free will comes too many factors and to get society in a position for something of that nature would take a complete breakdown of the systems the world uses, the teaching and experience taught world over, and a system to be already built to determine what needed to be done and what was already done. Then there are hundreds of layers under that witch would make it highly improbable to put into motion or even run efficiently once in motion for at least a few centuries.

I watched both videos, and all that work plus expense on chemicals to basically get 1 gram of gold (less than $42 spot in today's value)
