Ok, this is new, I had not heard about this, I just ordered some.

I like this, they used to sell them in sheets. This should help stop getting toning from greasy hands but as far as milk spots I am not too sure lol

anyone else buy these or heard about them?

I'm pretty sure I have the Panda Privy maple leaf that comes in this type of packaging. Either that or the Superman dollar. If it's the same thing that you are showing here, I like it much more than having them in flips.

ahhh I was wondering if that was the case...

I wonder if this will help improve quality in SMLs over all....

They have been doing flex seal for a couple years now at least. I've only personally had reverse proof Birds of Prey in flex seal though. They will probably stop any toning, but I don't believe they will prevent milk spots. I hate buying Maples and having them be lightly scratched/banged up from rattling around in the tubes, but of course being bullion coins it's acceptable for them to be that way.

well that answers that LOL

so the Flex packaging helps in-

letting you buy less than a roll of maples, which I guess is good if you are a stacker but diversify what you stack. It also limits human hands on the coin, which is good..

but milk spots, forget it, The RCM isn't bothered by it lol Which I mean, its ok.

So I got some of these.. I guess I did have one already from 2016 when I checked out my collection.

... and yes one already had a small milk blotch lol

I think the idea here is for stackers to offer them an easier way to purchase without buying a whole roll.

Nice looking coins, too bad they dont up their production quality to what the Perth Mint does. :(
