You are correct on this being a SD. What you need to look for is the 1982-D SD

In my limited experience, about 1 in every 20 will have the small date, and the majority of the small dates I've found have been copper.

I was under the impression that 82 SD coppers were difficult to find in general. I'm aware of the 1982 D small date copper being the jackpot, definitely keeping my eyes out for that one!
