hokiefan_82 Pillar of the Community United States 3659 Posts	Posted 07/25/2025 4:57 pm I recently found this aluminum token on ebay and it caught my eye as it's from the town where I was born. Meyer Store Co. Inc., Walnut Ridge, Ark., "Good for $1 in Merchandise". The little information I found was that there was a Meyer Department store which existed in Walnut Ridge from around 1929 until at least 1940. I found similar examples on tokencatalog.com in denominations 5c through $1. Member of SPMC, FCCB, ANA and ANS. dar76124 Valued Member United States 397 Posts	Posted 07/27/2025 4:10 pm Interesting token I picked up. I grew up in Lexington and "Hospital" and "Patient" are a bit misleading. The "hospital" is run by the Federal Bureau of Prisons and the "patients" are inmates with special medical needs. It has treated a number of famous people for addiction.
