1883 CC Morgan? Thoughts On Grade? Value?

Hi folks, I stumbled on this 1883 CC Morgan. I only have pictures unfortunately but it almost looks like a proof. My question is around the vertical lines seen on this coin. What would cause them? I don't recall seeing adjustment marks on Morgan's before and I've done a bit of reading about roller marks. I'm not sure if those apply here. Looking at the talons of the eagle, it almost looks like metal was filed away.

They are roller marks.

obverse rims don't indicate a proof to me. coin looks weakly struck and surface on liberty's face doesn't look like it has luster. au58.

The photo is way over lit and while it may be PL there is no way to say from the images. Since it's a Carson City and TPG's seem to give them somewhat of a pass on bag marks I think MS64. It appears to be in the original govmint plastic by the black mark on the reverse at 9:00?
Oh, and it's a VAM8A which is known in DMPL.

A terrific coin but the photography is extremely deceptive. I'd have to agree with Dave that MS64 is the ceiling for this one, although it may be near the top end for that grade. It would be easy to alter the appearance of the coin drastically with a minor variation in exposure. Like so:

All of a sudden, it's something with questions in the fields, especially on the reverse, and all I did was reduce the light levels of the original in postprocessing. I doubt this captures the actual "look" of the coin any better than the originals, which is appropriate as there's no new information being offered.

Carson City is notorious for coins struck like this one. I suspect they struck relatively slowly, with the absolute travel of the dies limited, to achieve strikes this excruciatingly sharp while at the same time incomplete.

Wow; thank you gentlemen, tremendously useful information. Wow! Superdave, how did you generate those photos from my originals? I find your version much more useful. Is that a program you used? Something simple? I agree the photography is incredibly deceptive here which is why I am here seeking counsel from you fine folks.

How much would you pay for the above coin knowing what you know. If you could provide two amounts, one assuming it is PL and the other assuming a business strike, that would be immensely helpful.
