Paid $370 for this coin, thought it looked absolutely fantastic with its wonderful toning. It's the most I've ever spent on a coin and I'm wondering if it was a smart purchase? What would you grade? Thanks again so much in advance!

Very nice coin, it looks tooled, cleaned & toned! XF-45 AU details.Price about where it should be.

AU50 details. do you have the coin in hand? this company is not the most reputable to deal with so hopefully there are no surprises when it arrives

Ok Bust half masters, is this Overton-108 or O-108a? AU-50. Marks to the left of the date are some cool mint made die lines. Was that what you thought was the tooling Chase007 or was it the marks near the chin in the field. Obverse rim ding at 10:30 doesn't distract but perhaps it will look worse in hand? Love the color. Post more pics when you receive it.

It is obviously a beautiful coin in this photo. I would be skeptical of all sales from this company. They are masters of hiding problems on coins with their photography. Not saying all of their coins have issues, just saying you should be careful.

 with those recommendations. Carefully examine the coin upon receipt and return it immediately if it's different from these pictures. If the coin looks like this photo you did okay.

Couple of hard obverse rim hits at K7 & K10, toning is ok, but there is funny business going on left of the date and in the field to the right of the 2nd star.
I'd only buy it with an ironclad return policy if it was a loser in-hand.

Hey guys, I somewhat ironically made this bid on a plane and immediately regretted it, but due to unbelievably slow (and unbelievably expensive) wifi, I could not retract it. I had based part of my decision on the title (my mistake) as the picture wasn't loading fully. It read "Choice AU++" which, as is immediately clear, this coin is not. So I have made the somewhat d*ck move and asked to cancel the transaction, explaining all this to the seller. I don't have a massive budget so I want to be 100% confident in a coin before purchasing. Additionally, I live abroad so I wanted to save the seller the time and fees that return shipping would cost (it seemed there was going to be a good chance I was going to return it). Thanks again so much for your input, especially that the seller is not reputable-- I thought he was as reputable as you get with all the positive reviews.
