Obverse really looks uncirculated, but it's really tough to see the high points, let alone the fields, to be certain.
The reverse does show highest point rub, but that could also be from the very typical soft reverse strike.
The toning is just plain beautiful, although it makes grading from two photos a beast.
Ill go with 58.

Stars are worn flat. Feathers on eagles left leg are worn. Luster only visible hugging devices. Au50.

Stars are not worn flat - this is a striking issue very common on LS coins of all denominations. Same weak strike issue on left leg. I've collected LS quarters over a lifetime, and believe me this is an exceptional near-unc coin.

I will agree with Coinfrog. AU58. Love the look of this coin as well.

Is the lack of luster in the right obverse field also a striking issue?

I agree with numismatic student. It appears to me that the coin has seen its share of circulation and is not even close to a high end AU. I do like the look.

AU55, shot at 58, very little circulation rub, no major distracting marks under the toning, looks extremely original. This is the way to collect them, at least for me.
Ask yourselves this: would you pay AU50, AU55, or AU58 money for this coin? There's your grade.

NGC can be lenient on AU coins lacking luster but not that lenient. AU50 is my guess, maybe 53 on a good day.
Looks like a PCGS XF45.

I've seen plenty of fully-toned/heavy color coins with not much luster to speak of in AU53/55/58 holders. They're grading on sharpness, not luster, due to the toning. Otherwise, heavily toned coins such as this one would never get above XF, even if they were Uncirculated.

There's not much toning or luster in the right obverse field. I wouldn't pay au58 money for this coin.

I see now it looks like a PCGS holder. It will be interesting to see what they said. Here again I agree with Numismatic Student that it does not look AU58 (or even 55 IMO).
It is a nice looking coin and a tough date for sure. Worth a lot of money but not AU58 money.
