Hi yall! I was recently given a Wheat penny collection consisting of about 8 books dated 1909-to present. There are many empty spots and I thought I would try and complete them. Once I started looking up wheat pennies I began to realize how much I needed to learn. Who knew pennies could cost so much..haha I was hooked right away. The hardest thing so far has been trying to see what a double die is. I can't see them on pictures and I have gone about blind trying to find them on my coins. So much to learn! So here I am and hoping I don't have to pawn one of my kids to afford a few of the missing wheat pennies lol Nice to meet yall  |

 DW to the family! Lots to learn from here, happy to have more aboard. Check out what our CCF members sell on ebay and once you get the 50 post minimum you can purchase from members here, a bit cheaper here too!  |

Thanks! I'm running into my first "where did my post go" thing. I posted in the coin roll hunting topic and posted a picture of a coin I found wondering if it was an error or damage. Now it's gone. Is there a help for dummies topic anywhere? lol

Welcome here!
Up until a recent visit with a state-side friend my Lincoln collection has been miniscule - 100% gleaned from pocket change here in Canada so I understand the interest in chasing down ones to finish a run :)
