Quote: as soon as I get more coin, I can post again.. Dearborn, you should go to a coin show - I picked up this lot of world coins for $7. It's over 2 kg, so I figured that's less than scrap value for them!

Quote: Hondo's got some photos to shoot with that 5# bag-o-coin I'm about halfway through the first sort - making piles by continent. Three silvers so far: Netherlands 1 Gulden 1957, Sweden 10 Ore 1956, and Sweden 25 Ore 1953. That melt value is about $7, so it's like all the rest are free! Lots of Bermuda pig pennies and Ethiopia 1 Santeems. Many other cool coins, but there's no way I could photograph even a tenth of this pile!

From Fiordland National Park, NZ, heading 7752 miles, 241.94 degrees NNW, skirting between the islands of Mauritius & Reunion, skimming by the NE tip of Madagascar, & landing in Kiunga, we go from New Zealand, to British East Africa (present day Kenya)
