Hello.
I came across an auction for the collection of coins and medals.
I am very tempted to bid on it but I would like to know the true value before I make a decision. I mostly collect British coins so those ones are not really known to me.
Below are links to all the pictures the seller has taken.
Thank you in advance for your time.

Pretty extensive collection. Going to be difficult to put a value. Do they give an estimate and whats the bidding start point.

My initial value and my starting bid would have been $1k CAD, but the more I look at it it can easily surpass 3k.

Good Luck
Rest in Peace

The vast majority of that stuff is extremely low value, less than $2. It's presented with such volume specifically because the pieces have a pretty minimal collector value.

If you put this stuff on a dealer table at a show, I'd doubt that too many people would even slow down as they cruised by.

All volume, little value.

I see a little silver but mostly moderm proof and collector sets. It also looks like they are taking pictures of the same items from different angles making it look like there is more volume than is really there. Unless that is the type of stuff you collect or routinely sell, I'd steer clear.

Thank you to everyone.
I started doing some research and most of those gems I am unable to find because they are just simply medals.
Price on auction is around 600$ with 1 more day to the end so I am not going to bid.
Thank you once again
