Since the year is coming to an end. Can all of you post your most interesting/best finds of this year?
Mine is the non for circulation Canadian 1999 steel plated series coins (penny, dime, quarter).
Pictures will come later. Edited by CurrencyLooker 12/09/2017 09:06 am

I did, about 3 times. Then I proceeded to put it in the small pocket of my jeans.

Carlos, that is nuts! 3rd obsolete coin I've seen posted here of late as a reject find... In terms of CRH, my clear winner is this AU 1928-S Buffalo nickel which came out of a CWR. Far and away my most valuable individual coin find ever. My Coinstar finds included this very bizarre majorly off center Lincoln Memorial cent. Why someone gold plated it, I'll never know. It was actually sitting on the ground, just to the right of the machine.
CRH Nickeloholic. 1,600,000 nickels searched in eight years! Have found FOUR complete Jefferson sets!

I picked this up on a bulk purchase of LWCs this past year; paid around 8 cents for it. 1917 DDO-001 Obverse has an odd lamination running through it.

Yup... a very good year... 22 days left to see if we can make anything else happen. First calendar year in my life that I've managed to put together a full Jefferson nickel set too!

I found a 1938 Six Pence in a roll of Lincoln cents in the very first box I searched this year. Silver in a zinc/copper roll is always a good find.

Craziest thing found in a Coin Star reject slot was a polished Petoskey stone sitting on top of a handful of Canadian change.
Also found a 14K gold wedding band on the shelf of a CS machine. Turned it into the store and after so many days unclaimed it was given back to me.
