Hello,
I was wondering if someone can help me out... Does any one know what kind of problem this coin has, it is a 1989-D Lincoln Penny and it looks doubled where it says "UNITED STATES..."
Thanks

@Og_cujo33, first welcome to CCF. Second, I have recommended to the mods that your thread be moved to the best area within CCF to get you answer. That said, it looks to me like the common issue of split plating, it which case there is no premium on this coin and it is safe to spend.
