Thank you all for your input. It matches up with what I was told at the LCS yesterday. I thought AU was worth a buck or two and anything higher was there the real money was at.

If I found that I'd keep it as its a 30+ year old coin and how it survived in AU that long who knows. Most 2017 NP quarters I get in change have much less luster and more wear than that does

I often see quarters in circulation from the 1970s and 80s that are in the same condition as this coin, and they are all worth face value. The coin that wulffy11 posted is worth face value.
