Hey everybody. I found this while going through a jug of change. Not sure if it is an error or damages. The reverse looks to have more metal than it should. If the picture isn't clear enough let me know and I will try to take a better one. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Solder? Glue? Either our favorite little garage gremlin is practicing again or possibly(doubtful) was a jewelry piece.

If glue will come off with acetone bath.

Yes I agree that it looks like solder may have been added to this coin after it left the mint. Looks like someone was trying to give Jefferson a beard.
