Just found- Oldie but Goodie- "BIE" Lincoln Cent.

Don't know if anyone even saves these anymore?

Here are two closeup pics- this is a pretty big piece of metal in between the B & E of Liberty.

Now I'm no sure if this is a "BIE" error, or a very large DIECHIP in between the B & E.

all "bie" errors are just die chips between the B and E

You see them on ebay every once in awhile and the later dates (post wheat) seem to be the ones that draw the most interest.

Thanks for the distinction- Die Chip- regardless of the size in between the letters -its still a "BIE" error.

Nice find! I used to find these in circulation as a kid, but now they're harder to find in bulk wheats. I can only guess people look for them.

I heard somewhere that there is a large community of people that collect these "BIE" errors. Personally I think it's just a cool looking die chip.
