Pretty amazing find while cashing in some almost worthless change. Questions are as follows: 1. Should I have to professionally cleaned by a PCGS or the likes OR leave it crusty and somewhat toned? 2. Any idea on the grade or even the value?

Grade,maybe a VF-20 Value,less than $10 Not worth professional cleaning. John1

So if I put it in acetone it won't devalue the coin ... will it?

Depending upon what's on the coin, acetone may or may not do anything at all for the surfaces. If it does, it's time to wonder what those surfaces will look like compared to the rest of the coin. If you remove everything, it'll be "too clean" for a circulated coin. If only part of it is removed, then only part of the surfaces will look "cleaner" and you'll have a coin which has obviously been cleaned. Sometimes, it's better to leave well enough alone. Then again, it's tough, from these images, to determine exactly what's wrong with the coin, or even effectively grade it. Is there any of LIBERTY showing on the band?

 leave it as is. Almost anything attempted for improvement is likely to backfire. Leave it crusty. Great find. Congratulations.

I would leave it alone only because there looks to be some rim damage. Otherwise it looks to be XF details. A clearer picture would help.

Indeed a lovely find for a Coinstar machine ... but alas a common date with several circulation wear issues. Put it away as the start of your Barber dime collection ... thats the best you will get from this coin other than melt silver value.

I agree with leaving it be. I don't think acetone will do much, if anything, for it. Nice find!
