Found this week 1968D with rim Cud and looks like partial filled die on the 1 and tip of 9 in the date.

Looks like a rim Cud, or a flattened fin. Hard to tell for sure from the image provided. Leaning towards rim Cud. On the one on the date, that is not a Struck Through Grease error. If it were, then the device would be wider. It if from an over polished die. Seems like it looks like mine. I'd post my image, but not always able to from my tablet. Mine is a Philadelphia one.

with the overpolised. Note also south of the 1, onto the vest is a possible fill or polish as well. Die did get some "repairs"!
