If you've frequented the PCGS forums, you might know me. I tend to post over there more often. I just joined up over here and wanted to say hi. Some of you know that I operate Anacondararecoins.com. I noticed an old thread about it just a moment ago. Thanks for the compliments on the site. I would like to get to know folks over here. I heard it was a great place to hang out. Might as well make this thread a pic post one. Here's a nicely toned morgan for starters.  |

Welcome sir. It is nice of you to make it across the street. You have been a topic of conversation on more than one occasion. Always pretty good from what I remember, (even if you tend to sell the same quality of coins that I do), but I am willing to make an exception this time  |

All seriousness aside, welcome to what I think is the nicest community of its' type. I would dearly love to ask how you guys create such nice photos for your auctions. I'm working on my skills in that area, and you seem to have it nailed.

I would dearly love to ask how you guys create such nice photos for your auctions.
Copystand, 3+ lights, Camera w/good macro functionality, and nice photo editing software to crop, resize, fix color balance, ect.

Let me chime in on this also, Photographing coins really takes quite a bit of practice, along with patience. We use a custom built camera stand, and photoshop. Before editing, the pic looks like this:  After editing, and lightening up the pic, it looks like this:  |

I remember very well. San Francisco was very fun. If you liked our commems in SF, then you might want to come by our table at FUN. Gregg Bingham might be displaying some of his fabulous toned commemoratives at our table (not to sell though).
