She is in and out of the doctors...4 so far.. finally found one that has a clue...her iron levels are low. went for blood work..had a endoscopy....then went to the cancer centet for an iron infusion....on nexium and iron pills..b-12 shot and a follow up on Jan 3rd. we do not know what the plan is if her iron levels do not come up. I hope we don't have to have that conversation.

Meanwhile..her tooth starts hurting..go to the dentist, he says you need 2 teeh pulled a wisdom tooth and the one in front of it as it is dead.....but wait theres more....she also needs a root canal...make an appointment with the endontonist (spelling) ...specialist in gum surgery and root canals. (i thought regular dentisits still did them)..anyway..gets the root canal done..

next day...sore.....today worse than before she had it done went to the specialist said "we did alot of work in there " take the tylenol during the day and the tylenol 3 at night for a few days and warm salt water gargles".

after work tonight....agonizing pain...call the reg denist, on vacation until Jan 4th, call the on-call dentist..he calls back asked a bunch of questions and said he can get her in tomorrow to pull the 2 that need to come out. may have to sedate her. office opens at 8 they will get her in.

in the mean time I am so friggin worn out from all the home stuff that has to be done...I just want her to rest and try and feel better........and she is working a full work week also.

I called work and tolsd them depending on her appt time I may have to be in and out..I'll be back after I get her home and comfortable. They were fine with that..very understanding group I work for.

Thanks for listening.

-Gil

Sorry to hear you are having to go through one of "those" times. A little something you may want to remember when you are feeling just as low as you think you can feel, and that is you got the easy job!

Stop and think of how your wife must be feeling, and them put on a happy face and try and take some of the strain off of her. You will both make it, I'm sure.

Grovey, so sorry to hear that your wife is ill. It's always so hard to deal with health issues, especially during the holidays. I hope that fortune smiles on the two of you and maybe she will feel well enough to enjoy the holidays. My prayers are with you both.
