I think I might've finally found my DDO, even if it is VLDS. What do you guys think?

I see die chips on the date. Not a doubled die.
I'm not seeing the doubling on the 9 or LIBERTY?
Rest in Peace

You should see something in VLDS on the RT and 9 still. The crossbar of T is short on yours and no East ridge on R r under the right side of chip in 9. Also questionable MM A position and orientation(rotation)

Foiled again. What're the odds that I'd find one with die chips in the same spots. I'll keep searching.

Die chips in the 9 and 5 numerals are very common on cents of this era.
Rest in Peace

Still worth saving if you like die chips.

JDRMCB, it's the DDO-003 for the 1957-D on VV that has the die chips as markers.

I ask because I just grabbed a roll of previously unsearched BU 1957-D's from my coin closet and they all appear to have the die chip in the 9!

I spent more than I should've on a few rolls of BU 57s and 58s, I hope you have better luck than I did.
