Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 12/18/2017 5:29 pm That my dear sirs is NOT a counterstamp! Just a metal stamp. Ones used to make the tin plate ID parts markers. Used to see those on '57 Fairlane radiators and body parts. If you call that counter stamped then a coin whacked by a socket and hammer would be the same, tooled alteration. I had thought it was a speed-not-quality way to stamp a bunch of cents for advertising purposes but what you posted makes a whole lot of sense.
