I found a pile of these tokens at a pawn shop. I was offered all of them for a buck each. There are about 150 of them.

souvenir dollars...made in Canada...have serial numbers

Are they part of a set or something?. seen them before?.

Any info would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.

A.

I find it very interesting that a ND souvenir would be made in Canada--and imprinted on the edge.

Very possible they could be silver....or sterling. What else is on the edge?

Canadian Mint Ottawa was much cheaper to commemoratives than US Mint in general. 1976 Usa was 200 year noticed as an souvereign nation. Much of these tokens were produced over there, offered in franklin-mint type of boxes. Could be silver, though.
