Hello Coinvirgin here, here being the beautiful Napa Valley.
I am a complete novice to the Coin World. I began looking at my spare change literally in the last seven days & I found my first "double die reverse" on a 1982D Liberty quarter .
I was so excited needless to say i'm Hooked!
I have also discovered 3 other coins that appear the die(?) may have been cracked as well as a 1969 s Lincoln Memorial penny that the mint Mark has been something's underneath it like it's been done twice?i'd like Some pointers on the best way to photograph the coins because it has been a bit of a challenge more so than finding the coins themselves! Ha!
My question does anyone have any advice on the best way to photograph a coin?

Yea that is pretty cool. Perhaps we can meet after the holidays? It would be nice to know a local fellow coin collector!
Mean time, keep as active as you can Here on CCF! The people here are the most knowlegable folk I've seen. I have gained a plethora of knowledge here and still have much to learn. These folks are family and their willing to answer any questions that you may have. Just try to make sure that you post your coin in question in the proper forum in order to get the proper attention.

For PNS: make sure you use the macro setting and use sunlight when possible. If you need other light source use a LED handheld flashlight. Then just practice, practice, practice.
