Just me or is it getting harder to even find a 2000 Wide AM in searching rolls of cents lately?

I've searched approx 60 to 80 rolls of cents each week for the past 2 months and not a single Wide AM- 98 or 2000- ( forget about ever finding a 99- I think I'd probably fall off the chair in dis-belief!)

I sold 4- 2000 Wide AM's on ebay and 1- 98 Wide AM in the past 6 months and I still have 4- 2000's and 2- 98's, but I think I'm going to hold on to them - based on not finding at least 1- 2000.

Right now there are only 9 listings for the 98 and 9 for the 2000 on E-Bay.

For those of us who have had success finding these coins- are you still finding them or is it getting more difficult also?

I don't know either. Only found one so far. (2000)
Over 10 months ago. No one even wants it for $3.00
Used to sell for at least six bucks back then. Maybe
in 5 yrs. or so. Who knows? I want the 92 close.

125, I have been finding one in about every 5 to 6 boxes. Recently, the entire population of dates seems to have changed and at the same time, I have not found one in at least 10 boxes.

I have been pondering the same thing.

Depending on the grade naturally- some are getting a reasonable price for them.

Re- the 92 close- that would be a great find- I'd still be VERY HAPPY if I could find a 99!

That's what I mean- I don't know what it is either, but something seems to be going on with not being able to at least find ONE 2000 in 2 months (based on past success of finding these coins.)

I went through my jug of pennys that I have been adding to each night from my daily change, about $50 worth and found 3- 1998's and 1- 2000, no 1999's. Last week at a sub shop I found a 2000 in the "give a peeny, take a penny" tray.
