Date remains, shallow clip, nice grade, decent red. $10.

silverwolf. that is a very fine coin. you need to check and see if the 979 is doubled or tripled. that will add value. some of the 1979. some times even just the last 9 is doubled. so you need to check and see. plus look at the obverse. to see if that has some doubling as well. very nice coin it has eye apeal.

yes I can see some doubling on the 979, but I don't know if I can photo it properly..it looks like a small step up from the surface to the date. if that helps at all..

are the photos clear enough to provide a grade..approximately..?

Do Canadian coin clips show the Blakesley effect? Seems like it, EH?

The grade in a clip coin is not that important as for the sixe of the clip

I think it is a bit optimistic to expect $10 for a 1979 clip. There are a lot of 1979 clips and off centres out there. I would say more like $2 or maybe a little more because it is nice looking.

Very nice Clipped Planchet! I would say at its highest price, maybe 5 dollars.
