Thoughts about the letters on the obverse and reverse?
"GOD" is from IGWT and the "O" is from "ONE" on reverse.

The G O D doubling is caused from an over used die. It's referred to as Die Deterioration Doubling and will show a secondary image on the side of the devices closest to the rim.
The O is common MD. You can see how it makes the O narrower on the doubled section.
