Found this in a bank roll.. caught my eye immediately.. but it's so glossy I wonder if it's been treated or just really nicely toned? It's blue red and reddish brown.. the blue I couldn't really capture... and the details are great.. and sharp the steps words and date are all so nice... but I'm new.. so what do you all think?

This is often referred to as circulation cameo.

At one point the entire obverse and some of the reverse attained that dark tone all over. It was put back into circulation and that circulation rub removed the toning from the high points. This gave the coin that lovely dark colors in the tightest spaces and the light areas with the toning removed.

I myself absolutely LOVE that look. I would put this in an air tight container so the toning doesn't begin again.

I like that look, too! No going to make you rich, but certainly a keeper.

Great find. I too agree that is a fantastically great look. Sort of looks like a Bronze from a long time ago.
