Hi ismada

Is it possible for you to post a pic of the package ?

The packages that I have seen from Littleton, List the coin type at the top, the date and expressed grade in the next line, a bar code below that and what appears to be a stock number on the bottom right .

Welcome to the forum !!!

Rick

Hi Ismada, welcome to the forum. I believe that Metalman is right. They are only inventory or stock numbers for Littleton, and have nothing to do with the coin itself.

We all like to try to help here, so ask all of the questions that you like.
Rest in Peace

Hi Ismada,

Littleton Coin co. does a heavy amount of mail approval sales. The numbers are used to track track their inventory so they will know when it sold and for how much. It is also used for inventory control.

Let me add my welcome to the forum..!

Yup, the number 4027.18 is merely a inventory or stock number.

When I got my first batch of coins from them, I thinking that there is noway my 2001 ASE was worth 4K. lol

Well I thank you Catman and Ndgoflo for your help, you did see the pak? Is there any way of finding out more about this? I would certainly appreciate it. These must be earlier paks I don't see any barcodes, well anything will help and thank you all.

Sorry, I can only say that the baggies you have are from before any current barcode/scanning inventory type process might have been implaced.
