My 1944 LWC Has Something Going On With Liberty

First of all thanks in advance for any opinions I have been getting on these Wheat Cents. I noticed on this one the L I B in liberty is way off. I don't see any damage that caused this. No scratch marks or grooves. What do you think?

It looks like it has concentric damage that affected most of the outer elements including IGWT, Lincoln's bust and the last 4 of the date.

@Yanks, I agree with @spruette that this is most likely just damage. You are right that there don't appear to be any scratches or grooves, but the metal has been squished as if from an impact.

I can understand why you would ask. But I agree that it is damage. Keep searching.

Thanks everyone. I was so focused on the Liberty that I overlooked the other letters. I give you guys credit. I was into Wheat and copper collecting for the last few years and just now really gave these coins a look for errors or varieties. This is work!! Thanks again for the info... onto the next pile. The 1944 pile seems to never end.
