No date, sorry about quality of photo. I've probably searched 250 boxes and never found one until last night.

Mark - it was just slightly larger than a regular cent, but that is what I wondered too. The whole box was weird though, because I found 7 dimes as well, and they were String & Sons rolls.

Could you feel or notice it from the edge before opening? That is, did you know that roll had something unusual before you opened it?

He probably got it from bags of coins from the bank if anything

It may have been String wrappers but done by a local bank from pickup bags. They'll do that around here when they run short of recovery boxes. Otherwise bags go to be redistributed wealth!

Nice find from the CRH wilds ...

I've never found anything like it in my 10+ years of CRH ... so congratulations are in order.

It would be remiss of me not to state that there is not a lot of value ... I've traveled many bourse floors and these dateless cents (assume LMC, but you did not show a reverse photo) are selling in the $2 range.

Take a look at my other hobby ... http://www.jk-dk.art

That is way off center. Amazing it survived out in the wild. Enjoy!
