Although only 3 letters of "LIBERTY" are clear, I believe this coin to be in VG10 condition because the full motto is clear. I have not seen many of these coins that have a clear motto without being in at least F12 condition.

This is one of those coins that you either net grade or grade each side individually giving a split grade, obverse grades VG-8 reverse will grade F-12,, you can either net grade it VG-10 or split grade it for sides of the coin

Well Gang,

I grade this coin a fine. The only letter that's not visible is the "R". The rest of the obverse will grade as a fine. The reverse will grade a full fine. It has a full motton and the correct number of feathers show.

Sorry Catman, I could only see the L,I, and Y. That's why I graded it the way I did. By your description, I agree with the F12 grade.

Just goes to show that sometimes photographs just don't tell the story. No everyone can do phoyo's like Bobby.
