1966-P LMC Has Trust Issue(S) :)

Here's something from one of the quiet LMC's.
Note the "R" has a U-shaped mark going SW to NE with an odd center hole too.
The deep rim mark near liberty is also on the reverse.
I know it's not lamination, or die crack, nor die chip nor burr...what is it?

It looks like a Die Dent to me.

A Die Dent sounds like the most probable explaination. I am wondering if Coop will weight in on this?

Being that it's not quite as deep as the rim offset it is most likely s dent, large edge gouge

The top of the S looks like a lamination peel issue. The deeper part on thr field makes me think I the peel came off from. But the crater looks larger than the peel. So either the peel folded in half, or split away from the peel.
